    Cut potatoes and carrots into small 1 cm cubes, cauliflower into small florets and beans into short pieces. Chop onion, tomato and garlic.

    Fry onion and cumin in oil for 5 minutes. Add garlic, tomato, spices and salt and cook 5 minutes. Add potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, beans and water.

    Cover and cook 12 minutes, folding gently. Add peas and cook 5 minutes more until all vegetables are tender. Uncover to dry any excess moisture.
